Once on the island, the end of your journey brings you to a delightful chalet bungalow, built of stone with a tiled roof, which neatly sits between two neighbouring properties. A gravel path leads from the two off-road parking spaces, through a grassed front garden to the main door. On entry, a mixture of traditional and eclectic furnishings are offset against white walls and highlighted by patterned soft furnishings and decorative artwork. The dining room provides a space for more formal meals, after which, crossing the hallway into the lounge, you can enjoy a post dinner coffee or curl up in front of the television. Beyond the front reception rooms there is a snug - once inside, shut the door for quiet reflection or reading, for children or adults alike. The kitchen/diner is located down the corridor and has ample room for aspiring chefs to prep home-cooked meals, utilising the range oven. The table and bench sitting are ideal for a quick snack between activities or an alternative space for a more casual meal. To make the most of the English summer sunshine and balmy evenings the back garden has a large barbecue and exterior dining table, reached via the kitchen. The end of the enclosed garden is grassed and perfect for younger guests to play, leaving the remaining party to linger at the table, enjoying post dinner banter!
The staircase from the hallway leads up to two double bedrooms, a twin room and a further room with bunk beds. There should be no need to queue for a shower, as the first floor is served by a large bath/shower room, with an en-suite off the larger double and you’ll find an additional shower room on the ground floor. All the bedrooms benefit from a garden or sea view, being furnished for comfort and full of colour, to enhance your holiday mood!
Step over the threshold and make your way along a rural track and in a short 10 minutes you’ll find yourself at Priory Bay. On route you will pass by The Coach House, which can be booked in conjunction Cluniac Cottage, to accommodate a party of eighteen in total.
