The Squirrels

Welcome to The Squirrels, a beautiful holiday home set in the countryside yet with everything you need close by. Inside, the spacious open plan living, kitchen and dining area has gorgeous, vaulted ceilings and large doors that flood the room with light yet while the tasteful décor and soft furnishings allow you to cosy up and relax in style. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you will need during your stay and has a breakfast bar perfect to sit at for your morning cuppa or evening aperitif!
Each of the double bedrooms has been created with a sense of comfort without compromising on the finish, the master has an en-suite shower room while the other two bedrooms share the spacious family bathroom with its fabulous free-standing bath!
Outside, the decked terraced areas have plenty of seating and lead down to the large enclosed lawned area, a wonderful private area to play games or sunbathe.
Winford is a neighbouring district to Apse Heath, which has a small supermarket store, and there is a bigger store a short drive away. You’ll enjoy beautiful woodland walks in the nearby Borthwood Copse, where you will find an array of different trees and plenty of wildlife. The main cycle path from Sandown to Newport is accessed a few minutes away in Alverstone Village and the shopping town of Newport is about 15-20 minutes’ drive away, making this spot an ideal base to explore the whole Island. It is also on a bus route for convenience. Beach 2 ½ miles.
