Enjoy a unique glamping experience in this quirky shepherd’s hut. There is a pull-down double bed, accompanied by a feather duvet, plump pillows and Egyptian cotton bed linen. For entertainment, the TV has a built-in DVD player, Amazon Prime and Netflix. There is also a modern shower room with a Moroccan ceramic basin and a regular flushing toilet. Fluffy white towels, dressing gowns and velvety slippers are also provided for guests to use, plus toiletries and a doggie welcome pack consisting of a dog mat, bowls, a towel and a couple of waste bags along with a dog washer.
A private, patio dining area outside offers a firepit and stunning views; relax in the sun loungers and watch the ’wildlife tv’. You can often see buzzards soaring the skies overhead, and a herd of deer grazing at dusk in the fields. At night, you will hear the owls calling to one another, and if you’re especially lucky, you may even get to see the elusive barn owl! Plus, spectacular sunsets can be found here and on a clear night, the Milky Way.
Situated in a beautiful countryside position on a working farm, the property is located in the heart of West Sussex and bordering the South Downs Way, where picturesque countryside walks and cycling adventures await. A choice of locally renowned, country pubs lie within a 5-minute drive. Sumners Ponds are just 3 miles away, and Fisher’s Farm Park is just a 20-minute drive. The bustling market town of Horsham is nearby, with an array of shops and restaurants, and a 30-minute drive will take you to the scenic Sussex coastline.
To the west you will find Petworth and the famous Petworth House, home to many works by Turner, and beyond that the market town of Midhurst and the Cowdray Estate. The Downs Link, which is a combination of two disused railway lines, is nearby and can be reached from Christ Hospital, it provides a route which will link the North Downs with the South Downs.
