The River House
The River House is in Arundel, on the main road heading down to the coast. It's a big Victorian house, sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up nicely.
It's on three floors. The living room is through to the kitchen, which is down a couple of steps. There's an open fireplace. Underfloor heating in the kitchen. The garden is private, faces south-east, and has seating at the top and bottom.
The main bedroom is on the top floor, with a kingsize bed and views over the River Arun. The twin bedroom and the main bathroom are on the first floor. There's another bathroom with a shower over the bath on the ground floor.
The town centre is about a five minute walk. There's a shop, pubs, and restaurants there. Arundel Castle is the big attraction. It's got huge grounds and gardens. The castle website has opening times. Arundel Castle. The wetland centre is good too if you like birds. WWT Arundel.
For the beach, Climping and Littlehampton West Beach are a short drive south. It's a nice, unspoilt stretch. Goodwood, Fontwell Racecourse, and Chichester are all within about half an hour's drive.
Facilities: parking on site, wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. There's a woodburner. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
