Candle Cottage is in Wepham, a little hamlet north of Arundel. It's a detached cottage. It's up on a bit of a slope, so you get a good view out over the fields towards Arundel.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The garden is enclosed, which is handy. There's parking.
You can walk straight out the door onto the South Downs. The path starts almost behind the house. The view from the top, looking back towards the coast, is the main reason you'd come here.
The George in Burpham is the local pub, about a fifteen minute walk. It does good food. Arundel is a ten minute drive. It's a proper market town with the castle and the cathedral. The castle is worth a visit if you've never been. It's got a lot of steps. The WWT Arundel Wetland Centre is just outside town if you like that sort of thing.
The coast at Climping or Littlehampton is about twenty minutes by car. Goodwood and Fontwell are nearby if you're into racing.
Inside, it's got what you'd need: a wood burner, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
For planning walks, the South Downs National Park site is useful. For the history around Arundel, you can look at English Heritage.
