Ashby Cottage
Ashby Cottage is in Arundel. It's on a small estate just on the edge of the town, and it's a five minute walk down into the centre. It's a modern three-storey house.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. All the bedrooms have their own bathrooms attached. Two have showers, the third has a bath. There's also a toilet downstairs.
Downstairs is one big room for the kitchen, dining and living area. It has an open fire. There's another, smaller living room on the ground floor, which is handy if people want some quiet. The garden is enclosed and has a patio with a barbecue. It’s a safe space for kids and dogs.
Walking into Arundel is easy. The town is mainly antique shops, tea rooms, and pubs. The castle dominates everything and is well worth a visit. You can walk up to the Keep for the view. Arundel Castle have all the visiting details.
If you like walking, you can head into the parkland behind the castle, or follow the River Arun. The WWT Arundel Wetland Centre is good for birdwatching.
You can drive to the coast in about 15 minutes. Goring-by-Sea and Littlehampton are the closest beaches. For walking on the South Downs, the main national park site is South Downs National Park.
The house has TVs, Netflix, WiFi, a washing machine and dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring one dog.
