The Bow is in Middleton-on-Sea, which is part of Bognor Regis. It's right by the beach, about a minute's walk. The owner built it to look a bit like a boat. They live next door.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and everything works, but it's not luxury.
The design is unusual because of the boat theme. There are porthole windows and the balcony has railings like you'd get on deck. The wall in the dining area is curved. It's just how it is.
The beach is pebble and sand, with rock pools. It's dog friendly all year. You can walk along the coast into Bognor Regis itself.
There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant about 50 yards away. For more choice, Bognor and Littlehampton are a short drive.
Good places to go within about half an hour: Arundel has its castle and is nice to walk around. Chichester has the Festival Theatre and shops. The South Downs are right there for walking. For a bigger day out, Portsmouth or Brighton are both about a 40 minute drive.
Useful links if you're planning: National Trust South Downs and Sussex Wildlife Trust.
Facilities: parking on site, WiFi, TV, washing machine. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
