Eve’s Cottage is in Arundel, on a hill near the cathedral. It’s a period cottage, so it's over three floors. The stairs are typical for a place like this, which means they’re a bit steep and winding in parts.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One is en-suite to the main bedroom on the first floor. The other two bedrooms are up another flight of stairs on the top floor. One has a view towards the river and the sea, the other looks at the cathedral. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable and well-fitted, not just basic.
Downstairs, there’s a living and dining area with a wood burner. The kitchen has granite worktops and a vaulted ceiling. Out the front there's a south-facing courtyard, it’s private and gets the sun.
You can walk to everything in Arundel. The castle is a short stroll away. It’s impressive. Arundel Castle is worth a visit if you’re interested in that sort of thing. The town has lots of little shops and places to eat.
For walking, you’ve got Arundel Park right there, which leads up onto the South Downs. The WWT Arundel Wetland Centre is nearby if you like birdlife. The river is nice for a stroll, and you can get boat trips.
The coast is about a fifteen minute drive. Climping Beach and Littlehampton’s West Beach are the closest. Goodwood and Fontwell racecourses are within half an hour. Chichester, with its theatre and cathedral, is about twenty minutes by car.
Facilities: there’s a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking for one car on site. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
