Owl Cottage
Owl Cottage is in Amberley village, in West Sussex. It’s a one-bedroom place, sleeps two. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it’s very comfortable and well looked after.
It’s all on one level. You get in through a porch. The living area has a wood burner and French doors out to the garden. The kitchen has a washing machine and a dishwasher. The bedroom has a kingsize bed and good storage. The shower room has a walk-in shower.
The garden at the front has a bench and a small pond. Birds do use it. You're welcome to sit out there.
It’s in the middle of the village, so you can walk to the shop and there are three pubs close by. Amberley itself is mostly thatched cottages. It's right at the bottom of the South Downs. The South Downs Way goes through here, so you can be walking on it in minutes. The river Arun is nearby too.
For things to do, the Amberley Working Museum is about a mile away. It’s a big open-air museum about industrial heritage. Parham House is two miles east, it’s an Elizabethan house with good gardens. Arundel is about five miles away. The castle and cathedral are the main things to see there. Pulborough Brooks RSPB reserve is next to the village, it's good for birdwatching.
You can bring one dog. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking.
