Keeds Cottage is in Pickhurst, West Sussex, right in the South Downs. It's detached. You share the main garden with the barn opposite, but you have your own patio bit.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The rating is 5 Star, so it's all done to a high standard. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed. The second room has two singles that can be zipped together into another kingsize if you ask beforehand.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs with a kitchen, dining area, and a wood burner that faces both the living space and the kitchen bar. It's warm. Up a short flight of stairs are the bedrooms and the bathroom. The bathroom has a bath, a separate shower, and two sinks.
There's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's an electric car charging point. One well-behaved pet is allowed.
The cottage overlooks an orchard. You're on the edge of the South Downs National Park, so there are footpaths from the door. Pulborough Brooks RSPB reserve is close by. Arundel Castle is about a 20 minute drive. Petworth House and Park is about the same. Goodwood is about half an hour away, for the races or the Festival of Speed. The coast, like West Wittering beach, is roughly 40 minutes by car.
Pulborough station is a few minutes away. Trains go to London Victoria in about an hour and twenty, and to Brighton in about an hour.
