Pound Cottage is in Kirdford, West Sussex. It's a big, old house. It sleeps ten across six bedrooms. That's good for a couple of families or a group.
The rating says it's 4 Star. It's comfortable but it's not new. There are low beams in the living room and the stairs are a bit steep, like you'd expect. There's an open fire you can use.
There are two bathrooms. One is on the ground floor next to a double bedroom and it has a separate shower. The other is upstairs with a bath. There's also an extra toilet downstairs.
Upstairs, the main double bedroom is big with high beams. You get to it through a single room, so that's useful if you've got a young child with you.
The kitchen has a range cooker and a long farmhouse table. The garden outside is large on both sides. There's a brick patio with a table and a firepit.
Kirdford is a quiet village. There's a 17th century pub about five minutes walk away, and another one about ten minutes walk.
You're a mile from the edge of the South Downs National Park. Guildford is about half an hour's drive if you need a big town. The Wey and Arun Canal is nearby, with boat trips at Loxwood which is a ten minute drive.
For walks and days out, the South Downs National Park website is useful: South Downs National Park. The National Trust has a lot of places nearby too: National Trust South East.
It's got parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a cot available.
