The Lodge At The Lake House
The Lodge is in Ifold, West Sussex. It's a detached cottage in the grounds of our house. It's very quiet here. You have a private courtyard out the back.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The bedroom is large, with a kingsize bed and a sitting area at one end. The kitchen is separate. It's a good size.
There's a tennis court about a minute's walk away. You're welcome to use it. We have a private wood and a fishing lake on the property. You can walk around them. The hens are nearby. They lay fresh eggs, which we'll provide if you'd like them. They can be a bit loud in the morning, so we leave earplugs in the cottage just in case.
There's a pub within walking distance. It serves food. If you play golf, there's a local course. You can go horse riding nearby too.
For days out, Petworth House is about a 20 minute drive. Goodwoods is about half an hour away for the motor racing or the festival. The South Downs are easily reached within 30 minutes for walking.
Facilities: there's parking on the drive, WiFi, a TV, a BBQ in the courtyard, and all bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
