Woodlands Dairy Cottage

Woodlands Dairy Cottage is in Adversane, West Sussex. It's a detached cottage, converted from an old dairy on a working farm. You're down a farm track, so it's quiet. There are 86 acres here with sheep and beef cattle. If you come in spring, you can see the lambing.

It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. Everything is on one level, so it's accessible if you use a wheelchair. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.

The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. You can bring two. There's a patio with a barbecue. Inside, it's open plan. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Wi-Fi is included. You can park right outside.

You can walk straight out from the cottage onto footpaths. Good for wellies. There's storage for bikes if you want to explore the bridleways.

The local pub is about a mile away. There's a shop the same distance. For a bigger shop, there are supermarkets a four mile drive.

It's a good base for seeing things. Arundel Castle is about a 20 minute drive. The South Downs National Park is close. The Weald and Downland Living Museum is worth a visit if you like old buildings. Chichester is about half an hour away for the cathedral and the theatre. The coast, like Littlehampton or Worthing, is roughly 16 miles.

If you like motor sports, Goodwood is not far for the Festival of Speed or the Revival. For birds, the RSPB Pulborough Brooks is nearby. Gatwick Airport is about 40 minutes by car.
