Mill House on the Brooks is in Coldwaltham, West Sussex. It's in the South Downs National Park. It sleeps fifteen across four bedrooms, which is larger than most. It has four bathrooms, all ensuite. It has a 4 Star rating.
The house is modern inside, with big windows looking over the fields. The living area is open plan and high-beamed. The patio doors open right up. There's a big stone patio outside that looks down towards the Rother Valley.
The stairs are fine, it's not an old cottage. Each bedroom is done up differently. Because of the size, it's suited for a big family group or friends getting together.
The local pub is about half a mile walk. There's a shop about a mile away.
You're right on the edge of the Rother Valley walk, so you can start walking from the door. There's about half a mile of private fishing on the River Rother next to the house. Pulborough Brooks, which is an RSPB reserve, is about a mile away. Good for birdwatching.
For days out, Parham House and Gardens is four miles away. Petworth House and Park, which is National Trust, is a short drive. Arundel Castle is about twenty minutes by car. Chichester, with the Festival Theatre, is about half an hour. Goodwood and Fontwell racecourses are nearby. The coast at Littlehampton is within thirty minutes.
In terms of what's here: there's parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a cot if needed. Bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage. Sorry, no pets.
