Barrington Cottage Byworth

Barrington Cottage is on the edge of Byworth, a little village in West Sussex. It's a three bedroom cottage that sleeps five, almost six if you use the pull-out bed in the small room. It's got two bathrooms, which is handy.

The house has a 3 Star rating, which means it's clean and comfortable. It's not a show home. The garden is a good size, with a patio that looks out over it.

Inside, you've got a living room, a separate dining room, and a kitchen with a small breakfast table. The kitchen has everything you'd need. The stairs to one of the bedrooms are a bit steep, there are six steps up to it. Just so you know.

You can walk to the pub from the cottage, it's about 200 yards. It's a 17th century place with a terrace garden. The food is good. The village itself is very pretty.

Petworth is a mile away. That's the main town. It's full of antique shops and cafes. Petworth House and Park is there. It's National Trust, so good for a walk. National Trust Petworth.

You're right in the South Downs National Park. Lots of walking and cycling routes from the doorstep. South Downs National Park.

If you drive for half an hour you can get to a few things. Goodwood for the motor racing or horse racing. Arundel Castle. The beach at the Witterings or Worthing. Chichester is about the same distance.

Facilities are what you'd expect. Wifi, TV, washing machine. Parking for one car on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed.
