The Cottage is in West Burton, West Sussex. It's a single-storey place, converted from an old stable. It sleeps five, in two bedrooms. One has a kingsize bed and its own shower room. The other has a double and a single bed in it, which is handy. There's a family bathroom with a bath too.
The main living space has a high ceiling and a lot of natural light. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. Patio doors open onto a patio with a BBQ. The view from there looks out over fields towards the South Downs.
The village is quiet. There are two pubs within walking distance, both are decent. You can get straight onto local footpaths from the door. To get up onto the South Downs Way, you can walk up from the village or drive a short way to a car park at Whiteways.
Petworth is about four miles north. Petworth House is there, which is a National Trust place with a big art collection and deer park. Bignor Roman Villa, which has the mosaics, is a couple of miles away.
For facilities, you've got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. There's a cot if needed. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on site. No pets, sorry.
