Honeysuckle Cottage
Honeysuckle Cottage is in Petworth, right by the wall of Petworth House park. It's a one bedroom place, so it sleeps two. You get the little garden to yourselves. There's a good view from there, over the valley.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not huge. You've got everything you need. There's a kingsize bed upstairs and a bathroom next to it. The bathroom has a bath with a hand shower, no separate shower cubicle.
The stairs are a pine spiral staircase. They're quite steep and open. You need to be okay with that.
In the town, which is a few minutes walk, there are shops, pubs, and places to eat. It's a proper little market town, full of antique shops. The local pub is about half a mile away.
Being next to Petworth House and Park is the main thing. You can walk straight into the deer park from here. It's good for a long walk. For birdwatching, RSPB Pulborough Brooks isn't far.
Within about half an hour you can get to other places. Goodwood is nearby, for the horse racing or the motor events. Chichester is about twenty minutes drive, it's got the cathedral and the festival theatre. Arundel Castle is in that direction too. The south coast, for the beach, is about half an hour.
What's here: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a coffee machine. WiFi, a smart TV with Netflix. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on the drive. We can provide a cot if you need one. No pets sorry.
