The Barn
The Barn is in Watersfield, West Sussex. It's a detached barn conversion next to our house. You look out over fields and paddocks.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. There are wooden beams and a wood burner. The ceilings upstairs are sloped, which you'd expect.
The patio garden is enclosed. There's outside furniture and a barbecue. There's also a hot tub on the patio.
It's got the things you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there. You can bring up to two dogs. We've also got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
The local shop and pub are about a mile and three quarters away. For a bigger shop, you'd go to Pulborough, which is a few minutes' drive.
Arundel is about a quarter of an hour away. It's got the castle, the cathedral, and some nice places to eat. The National Trust page for Arundel Castle has visiting information.
The South Downs are right here for walking. For beaches, West Wittering is sandy and popular, or Worthing is a traditional seaside town. Brighton is under half an hour away if you want a city day out.
There are lots of big houses and gardens around if that's your thing. Petworth House, Nymans, and Sheffield Park are all National Trust and within about half an hour. Goodwood is close by for the motor circuit and the horse racing.
