The Barn At Banks Cottage
The Barn at Banks Cottage is a converted barn in Lickfold, near Pulborough. It's attached to our house, but you have your own front door and a private patio area out the back. The patio gets the sun in the morning and looks out over the fields.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up recently, so everything's in good order. The kitchen is new. There's a wood burner in the main room.
You're right on the edge of the RSPB's Pulborough Brooks nature reserve. You can see it from the windows. If you like birds, you can just sit out there with a pair of binoculars. The footpaths go straight from the property onto the reserve.
The village pub, The Lickfold Inn, is about a 20 minute walk down the lane. It's a nice walk. They do food.
Within about half an hour's drive, you've got a few places. Parham House and Gardens is lovely for a walk around. Petworth House and Park is about 20 minutes away, that's National Trust. The South Downs are right there for longer walks. Arundel, with the castle and the wetlands centre, is about 25 minutes.
Facilities wise, it's all there: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, I'm afraid.
