Dairy Byre
Dairy Byre is here on the farm in West Chiltington. It used to be the milking shed. We've done it up so it's a holiday cottage now.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The building is old, so the walls aren't straight. You'll notice it along the back wall. We've kept the beams and the brickwork.
It's open plan inside, with the kitchen and living area together. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You get a TV and WiFi. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
Outside, there's a patio area with a BBQ. It's a shared courtyard with the other two cottages, but it's private and away from the farmyard. Parking is right there.
We're a working farm, so you'll see us going about. The village is a short walk. It's got a couple of shops and pubs. For a proper walk, you can head west across the fields. The South Downs National Park boundary is about three miles north. Good for walking and views.
If you're driving, Parham House is about three miles away. It's an Elizabethan house with gardens. Petworth is about eight miles, full of antique shops. The coast at Worthing is roughly half an hour.
