The Bull's Box
The Bull's Box is a one-bedroom cottage on our beef farm in West Chiltington. It used to house the farm bull. It's one of three converted farm buildings around a shared courtyard, but you get your own private patio area.
It's all on one floor, which is handy. There's a king-size bed and an ensuite shower room. The main room has a high, vaulted ceiling with the old timbers showing. It makes the space feel bigger than it is. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The farm is on a bit of a hill, so you get good views out over the fields from the driveway. It's quiet here. The courtyard is set away from the main farm buildings.
You're about a mile from the village shop and pub. The South Downs National Park is about three miles away. There are nice walks straight from the door across the fields. You can walk to the Nutbourne vineyards in about forty minutes.
Good places to visit nearby: Petworth House is about a twenty minute drive. RSPB Pulborough Brooks is great for a walk and birdwatching. Parham House is an Elizabethan house near Storrington, about a fifteen minute drive.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi included. Bedding and towels are provided. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. There's parking right outside. Sorry, no pets.
