Regents House

Regents House is in the middle of Arundel near the castle. It's a Regency townhouse. It sleeps twelve, has five bedrooms and three bathrooms. The rating is five star, which means it's well-kept and comfortable.

The layout is a bit different because of its age. The stairs are wide but they have turns. The main living room is at the front with a big curved window. It has a woodburner and working shutters for the winter. There's a TV and sound system if you want that instead.

At the back is the kitchen and a dining room that seats everyone. The kitchen has a large range cooker.

Downstairs on the lower ground floor is an old butler's pantry with a safe still in the wall. There's a table football there too. That floor also has the laundry and the old wine cellar, though it's empty now.

Three of the bedrooms are on the first floor. The main one at the front has an en-suite bathroom and a dressing area. Two more are at the back, one with an en-suite shower. There's also a separate family bathroom on that floor.

From the kitchen, a door goes into a conservatory and then the garden. The garden is on several levels with lots of plants. At the top is a terrace with a table and chairs. It gets the sun and you can see the castle through the trees.

Facilities: there's parking for two cars. Wifi, TVs, a washing machine, dishwasher, and a cot and highchair are there if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.

The town is on your doorstep. Shops and pubs are a minute's walk away. The castle and cathedral are very close. For a beach day, the nearest coast is about five miles. You can drive to the South Downs National Park or Chichester Harbour within half an hour.
