The Heights is in East Preston, right on the coast. It's a big house, basically across the road from the beach.
It sleeps ten people in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, so it works for a couple of families or a group. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and has everything you need.
It's on two floors. The main living area and kitchen are on the first floor, mainly to get the view. You can see the sea from the kitchen window. The garden and parking are on the ground level.
Because it's tall and near the sea, it can get breezy. The windows are modern but you'll hear the wind sometimes. The stairs between floors are fine, but they're a typical house staircase.
You're straight onto the beach. It's a big, sandy beach and it's dog-friendly all year. At low tide there's a huge amount of sand. You can walk along the beach to Littlehampton in about half an hour. The local train station is also a 30-minute walk, with trains to Brighton and London.
The village has what you need. There's a fish and chip shop, a couple of pubs, and some restaurants. Nothing fancy, but you don't have to drive.
A short drive gets you to a lot. Goodwood is famous for its motor racing events. Arundel, which has the castle, is well worth a visit. The South Downs National Park is right there for walks and cycling.
For facilities, it has the basics: dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TVs, parking for a couple of cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
