The White House Studio
The White House Studio is in Worthing, on the West Sussex coast. It's a self-contained annexe attached to our house. You get your own entrance and parking spot on the drive.
It's a studio, so everything is in one open-plan room. There's a proper king-size bed at one end, a sofa and a kitchen area with a breakfast bar in the middle. The shower room is separate through a door. It's all on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible from the parking area into the flat. The doorway into the shower room itself is standard width.
We've tried to make it comfortable for a longer stay. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher in the kitchen units. Plenty of storage for bags and clothes. The WiFi is reliable. We include all bedding and towels.
It's a quiet, residential street. The seafront and the promenade are about a ten minute walk. You can walk for miles along the coast that way. There's a local pub about five minutes walk away.
Worthing town centre and the pier are about twenty minutes on foot, or a few minutes in the car. There's a big Sainsbury's on the way if you need a shop.
For days out, Arundel with its castle is about twenty minutes drive inland. Brighton is half an hour along the coast. The South Downs are right on your doorstep for walking. The South Downs National Park website has good route ideas.
You can bring up to two dogs. We provide a travel cot if you need it. It's a no-smoking property.
