Walnut Tree Cottage
Walnut Tree Cottage is in Patching, up a lane near the church. It's a flint cottage. The garden is yours to use and looks south over fields towards the Downs.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and two bathrooms, one is an en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating. The layout is all on one level, which is useful if stairs are a problem. There's a step up into the shower though.
The kitchen has what you'd need. There's a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. The parking is right outside.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed.
There's a footpath that starts just past the church gate. It takes you straight up onto the South Downs. The views from up there are really something. For a longer walk, you can head over to Burpham. The George and Dragon there is a proper old pub.
Arundel is about ten minutes away by car. The castle is the main thing to see. The town is good for a wander and a coffee. The Wetland Centre is there if you like that sort of thing.
The coast is about twenty minutes away. Climping Beach and Goring Beach are the closest. Goring is shingle and quieter.
