The White House Retreat
The White House Retreat is a cottage near Worthing. It's one of those old gatehouse buildings for a bigger estate, on its own at the end of a lane. It's quiet.
It's just been done up, so everything's new. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. The bedroom has its own shower room. The main room is all open plan: kitchen, living area, sofa. There's a wood burning stove. The stairs up to the bedroom are a bit steep and narrow, like in a lot of old places.
Outside, there's a patio with a hot tub. Further down the garden there's a small gym in a shed. It's got a treadmill and some weights. The garden is enclosed.
It's about four miles to Worthing beach. For a bigger day out, Brighton is maybe twenty minutes east on the A27. The South Downs are right there. You can walk up to Cissbury Ring from here. Goodwood and Fontwell racecourses are both about half an hour away by car.
Facilities: it's got a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ. No pets.
