The Glade
The Glade is in Ferring. It's a detached bungalow down a quiet cul-de-sac, so there's no traffic. You're about 200 yards from the shingle beach. It's sandy when the tide's out.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. Everything is on the ground floor. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. You can bring up to two dogs.
The garden is enclosed. There's a patio area and a barbecue. Parking is on the drive.
Inside, it's open plan and quite light. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and wifi. Bedding and towels are provided. We can leave a cot if you need one.
A shop and a pub are a few minutes' walk away. The village itself is quiet. There's a café on the beach and you can hire beach huts.
Worthing is a short drive along the coast. It's a big seaside town with shops and restaurants. Brighton is about half an hour by car. You've got the pier and the Pavilion there. Chichester is also within half an hour if you want the cathedral or Roman history.
For local walks, the South Downs are right there. Goodwood and Fontwell racecourses are easy to get to if that's your thing.
