Stable Cottage
Stable Cottage is in Lyminster, near Arundel. It's detached, but it's next to our main house. You get your own place and garden. The garden's shared with us, but it's nearly two acres so there's plenty of space. There's a small pond, so watch small children.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms are ensuite, which is handy. One bathroom is a wet room. It's got a 4 Star rating. The layout is upside down. The living room and kitchen are upstairs. It means you get a good view from the main room over the fields towards Arundel Castle.
The stairs are fine. The ceiling upstairs is high, so it feels airy.
There's a shop and a pub about 300 yards away. The beach at Littlehampton is about three miles. For a nicer sandy beach, West Wittering is about a half hour drive.
Arundel is really close. You've got the castle and the cathedral, and the wetlands centre is good for a walk. The South Downs are right there for proper walking. Goodwood is about twenty minutes away for the races or the festival. Fontwell racecourse is even closer.
Brighton and Portsmouth are both within a forty minute drive if you want a city day.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
