Downsview Park is just over a mile south of Arundel. It's a detached house set back from the road in its own grounds.
The house sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both big doubles, and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's practical and comfortable.
The main thing here is the setup for dogs. It's not just pet friendly, the owners have thought about it. There are dog towels, beds, crates if you need them, and a hot and cold shower outside specifically for washing dogs off. The garden is fully enclosed. They also have a two acre field you can book for two half-hour slots a day to let them run properly. So it's serious about dogs.
There's a good sized garden with a patio and a barbecue. At the bottom there's a summer house with a little bar and kitchen area. It's a nice spot.
Arundel is very close. It's a nice town. You've got the castle, Swanbourne Lake, some individual shops and walks by the river. The WWT Wetland Centre is right there for birdwatching. You're basically on the edge of the South Downs National Park.
Goodwood is about a 20 minute drive. They've got the motor circuit and the racecourse there. Dogs are allowed pretty much everywhere on the estate. They've got golf courses too. Chichester isn't far either, about 20 minutes.
The coast is about ten minutes in the car. Climping beach is a local favourite for dogs.
Facilities wise: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, all the bedding and towels are included. There's on-site parking. They've got a cot, highchair and stairgate if you need them. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. They've got bike storage and you can fish locally.
