South Wood Lodge
South Wood Lodge is a place we built for couples in our garden in Walberton. We live in the main house, so we're nearby if you need anything. It's a single storey lodge, all on one level, which makes it easy.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The bed is a king size. There's a separate bath and a walk-in shower.
The main room is open plan. Kitchen at one end, sitting area at the other. The doors open straight out onto a private decked area which gets the sun in the afternoon. It looks out over fields.
You're about a ten minute drive from the coast at Climping or Littlehampton. Arundel is even closer, maybe five minutes by car. The castle is worth a look. The Arundel Wetland Centre is good if you like that sort of thing.
Goodwood is about fifteen minutes away for the motor racing or the festival. Chichester is maybe twenty minutes. The cathedral and the theatre are the main draws there.
There's a pub you can walk to in about fifteen minutes. It does food. For a bigger choice, you'd drive into Arundel.
Facilities wise: there's a dishwasher, WiFi, parking right outside, and bedding and towels are included. It's not really set up for pets sorry. We've made it nice for Christmas if you're thinking of booking it then.
