Goodwood Coach House
Goodwood Coach House is a converted coach house in Strettington, West Sussex. It's a single-storey flat on the first floor of the building. Your front door is round the back, up a set of external stairs.
It sleeps three but it's really for two people with one child. There's one main bedroom with a double bed, and the open-plan living area has two proper single beds in it. They're not tucked away, they're just there. We can also put up a folding bed if needed. There's one bathroom with a shower on the ground floor.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped. The kitchen is a good size with a dishwasher. There's a washing machine in a utility room downstairs.
You're welcome to use the owner's garden. We allow one well-behaved dog. There's parking on the gravel drive.
The location is the main thing. You're right on the edge of the Goodwood Estate. You can hear the motorsport sometimes from the house, which some people love and some don't. The main circuit is about a mile away. The horse racing track and golf course are nearby too. It's very handy if you're here for an event.
For days out, Chichester is ten minutes by car. It's a nice city with a cathedral and shops. The beaches at West Wittering are about twenty minutes drive, but check the parking in summer. Bosham is a pretty sailing village, about fifteen minutes away.
Further afield, you've got Arundel Castle about half an hour north, and the historic dockyard in Portsmouth is about forty minutes. The South Downs are right on your doorstep for walking.
