Goodwood Coach House

This is the Goodwood Coach House, in Strettington. It's a single-storey flat above what used to be a coach house. You get your own front door and it's all self-contained.

It sleeps three. There’s one proper bedroom with a double bed, and then the main living space has two single beds in it. It's open plan up there. The bathroom is on the ground floor, so you have to go down the stairs for that. It’s a shower room, no bath.

It’s a 4 Star place. That means it’s well-equipped and comfortable. You’ve got a kitchen with a dishwasher, a washing machine in the utility room, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking right outside.

You’re welcome to bring one dog. There’s also a patio area and you can use the owner’s garden, which is just across the driveway.

The location is the main thing. You're basically on the edge of the Goodwood Estate. You can hear the cars from the motor circuit sometimes, if there's a track day on. It's a few minutes' drive to the racecourse for the meetings, or to the golf course. The Festival of Speed and Revival meetings are right there.

The nearest pub is in Strettington itself, about a five-minute walk. It does food. Chichester is ten minutes by car. That's where you'll find the cathedral, the theatre, and all the main shops.

If you want the coast, the beaches at West Wittering are about twenty minutes away. Bosham harbour is closer, maybe fifteen minutes. Arundel with its castle is half an hour. Portsmouth, with the Historic Dockyard, is about forty minutes.
