The Old Surgery
The Old Surgery is next to our house, Corner Cottage. It's our old surgery wing, which is why it's called that. You have your own door off the garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been done to a high standard. The main bedroom upstairs has a double bed at one end and a single day bed at the other. The ground floor bedroom has two singles that can zip together into a super king.
The bathroom is on the ground floor. The bath is small but deep, a Japanese style you sit in. There's a good separate shower too.
There's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has what you need. You have your own patio area in the walled garden.
The village pub is about a minute's walk. They do food. The shop is in the next village, about a mile and a half.
We're in the South Downs National Park. Goodwood is very close, for the motor circuit, the horse racing, or the golf. Chichester is about ten minutes by car. The coast, like West Wittering beach, is about half an hour.
For history, you've got things like Petworth House, Arundel Castle, and the Weald & Downland Living Museum all within half an hour.
We allow one dog, by arrangement. We have a Corgi. He's friendly but he gets on best with well-behaved female dogs, so that's something to consider.
Facilities are all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, towels included. There's bike storage if you need it.
