Lake Lodge 2 is one of three identical lodges on the Chichester Water sports site. It's all on one floor. It sleeps four in two bedrooms and has one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's decent and clean. It's compact. I'd say it's best for a couple or a small family.
The main point is the location. You're right on the edge of the lake, handy for sailing and other activities. They run a free boat over to the cafe for meals. There are a few pubs and places to eat a short walk away.
You can walk into Chichester city centre in about twenty minutes. The cathedral is impressive. The whole centre is inside the old walls, so it's easy to explore on foot. The Chichester Festival Theatre is there and puts on very good shows.
A short drive gets you to Chichester Harbour. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are great walks and it's popular for boating. West Wittering beach is about twenty minutes away by car. It's a proper sandy beach with good facilities.
Heading north, you're into the South Downs straight away. The view from the Trundle, over Goodwood racecourse, is worth the walk.
Facilities are straightforward: parking right outside, WiFi, a TV, bedding and towels are included. There's a shower. Electricity is included. No pets, I'm afraid.
