Lake Lodge 2
Lake Lodge 2 is one of three identical small lodges at Chichester Watersports. It's all on one floor. It sleeps four in two bedrooms and has one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The lodges are there for people using the watersports, but they work just as well if you want a base for Chichester itself. You can walk into the city centre in about twenty minutes. The streets are full of old buildings and the cathedral. It's good for a wander.
There's a pub and a few places to eat a short walk away. Chichester Watersports also runs a complimentary boat service across the lake to their clubhouse for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
If you want to get out on the water, it's right there. For the coast, Chichester Harbour is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's about a ten-minute drive. West Wittering beach, with its sandy shore, is about twenty minutes away by car.
Heading north, you're quickly into the South Downs National Park. The view from Trundle Hill over Goodwood racecourse is worth seeing. Goodwood itself is close by for the Festival of Speed or the races.
Included in the lodge: all utilities, WiFi, a TV, bedding and towels, and parking right outside. There's a shower. No pets allowed.
