Riggers Cottage is in Bosham. It's on the waterfront, so you get the tide right outside. The garden is small, but it's yours.
The house sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. It's laid out upside down, so the living room is on the first floor to get the view. The stairs are typical for an old house, so watch your head in a couple of spots.
You're about five minutes' walk from the harbour. There's a pub, a restaurant, and the famous church there. The views from the top floors are over Chichester Harbour. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, good for birds and walking.
Chichester is ten minutes by car. They've got the cinema, theatre, a leisure centre with a pool, and the Roman villa at Fishbourne. Shops for a big grocery shop are there too.
Goodwood is about fifteen minutes away. That's for the horse racing and the Festival of Speed. The Weald & Downland Living Museum is nearby and well worth a visit.
The beaches at the Witterings or Hayling Island are a twenty minute drive. Portsmouth, for the historic dockyard or shopping, is about twenty-five minutes. Arundel Castle and the wetlands centre are within half an hour.
What's here: parking for one car, a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and a wood burner. You can bring one dog. All bedding is included.
