The Fisher Dairy
The Fisher Dairy. It's a converted single storey barn on our beef farm, near the village of Fisher in West Sussex. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The layout is all on one floor, which is handy. There's underfloor heating and a wood burner for cooler nights. The kitchen and living area are open plan. There's a big farmhouse table in there. The sofa and TV are at one end.
Outside, there's a small private garden at the back. It looks straight out onto the farm fields. You can have a barbecue out there. We allow one well-behaved dog.
The farm is down quiet country lanes. It's very rural. You'll see us going about the place sometimes. Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve is about two miles south. Good for walks and birdwatching. The coast at Selsey or the Witterings is about a twenty minute drive. You can see the Isle of Wight from there on a clear day.
Chichester is close, maybe ten minutes in the car. You've got the cathedral, shops, and the Festival Theatre there. The Goodwood estate is just north of Chichester, if you're going for the Revival or the Festival of Speed.
Practical stuff: there's parking right by the cottage. All bedding and towels are included. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's WiFi.
