The Fisher Dairy is in Fisher, West Sussex. It's on a working beef farm, next to our own house. It was a single-storey barn. The conversion left the character, so it's got things like thick walls and low beams in some doorways. It's all on one level.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a bath that has a shower over it. The kitchen and living area are open plan. There's underfloor heating and a wood burner. We leave logs for you. There's a table that seats six, so it's decent for meals or a board game.
Out the back is a small, enclosed garden. It looks straight out onto the farm fields. You get the odd moo from the cows. Parking is right outside.
You’re in the countryside here. It feels quiet, but you're only about ten minutes by car from the centre of Chichester. The farm is down a proper farm track, just so you know. It's fine for normal cars, just take it steady.
Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve is a couple of miles south. Good for walks and birdwatching. The coast at Selsey or the Witterings is about a twenty-minute drive. The Witterings has a long beach. If you're into sailing, Chichester Harbour is close, with places like Bosham and Itchenor.
Chichester has the cathedral, shops, and the Festival Theatre. Goodwood, for the races or the Festival of Speed, is about a fifteen-minute drive north.
For facilities, it's got WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
