It's called Thalassa. It's in Pagham, West Sussex, right by the beach. The place is unusual because it's made from two old railway carriages joined together. It's all on one floor once you're in.
It sleeps six people. There are four bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxury.
You get a panoramic view of the sea from the big windows. It's light and airy. There's a piano in the living area, which is a bit different. The garden has a patio area.
Getting to the beach is easy, you have direct access onto it. It's unspoilt. To get into the property, there's a short flight of steps or a slope with a handrail. Once you're up to the garden, there are another seven steps to the front door.
A shop and a pub are about five minutes walk away. The nature reserve at Pagham is right there if you like birdwatching.
You're well placed for getting out. Chichester is about ten miles. It's got the cathedral, the Festival Theatre, and things like that. Goodwood and Fontwell racecourses are nearby. Arundel is close too, with its castle and the wetlands centre.
Other beaches like West Wittering, Worthing, or Bognor are a short drive. Brighton and Portsmouth are both within about half an hour. The South Downs National Park is on the doorstep for walking.
For facilities, you've got parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding is included. There's a woodburning stove for colder nights. No pets, sorry.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust has several properties in the area like Petworth House and Uppark.
