Copyhold Barns is on a working farm near Lagness, just outside Bognor Regis. It’s a flint barn conversion, so you’ve got a lot of space. It’s split-level, which means there are a few steps inside between the living area and the bedrooms. It’s not suitable for wheelchairs because of the farmland, but the second bedroom and bathroom do have ramp access.
It sleeps four normally, in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms. There are also two sofa beds in the living room if you need them. The place has a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable and well finished.
The private outside area gets the sun in summer. You’re on a farm, so you’ll see wildlife. There are birds on the pond.
The local pub is about a third of a mile away. The coast is two and a half miles. Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve is a mile or so south. It’s good for birdwatching. Chichester is about four miles west. It’s a nice city to walk around. The Festival Theatre is there.
Further along the coast, Chichester Harbour and the Witterings beaches are about a 30 minute drive. You can see the Isle of Wight from there.
The facilities are what you’d expect: dishwasher, washing machine, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot. Sorry, no pets.
