The Dairy
The Dairy is in Birdham, near Chichester. It's a new cottage, one of two on the farm. It's detached and looks out over fields. You sometimes see sheep in them.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's done up nicely, with wooden floors and high ceilings. The doors from the bedrooms open onto your own bit of garden.
The place is on a working farm. There's a good amount of land for a walk, and space for kids to run around outside the garden fence. You can bring one dog.
It's about ten minutes in the car to West Wittering beach. That's a long sandy beach with dunes. Chichester is just a little bit further the other way. It's a proper city with a cathedral, shops, and the Festival Theatre. Goodwood is close by for the horse racing and the motor events.
The harbour is very close. You can hire boats or paddleboards from Itchenor, or get the little ferry over to Bosham. The bus stop for the beach and for Chichester is almost outside the gate.
Further afield, Portsmouth is about twenty minutes' drive. You've got the historic dockyard there with the Victory and the Mary Rose. Gunwharf Quays has shops and restaurants. There are a few National Trust places within half an hour, like Petworth House and Uppark.
For facilities: it has a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking next to the cottage. The entrance and shower are wheelchair accessible. There's a cot if you need one.
