Seaside Cottage is on a quiet private road in West Wittering. It's modern, but we've tried to make it feel like a proper beach house. You can sleep four people there, in three bedrooms. Two have king-size beds and the third has bunk beds, so it works for a family. There's one bathroom upstairs, and an extra toilet downstairs.
The living room has wooden walls and a window seat. People seem to like sitting there. The kitchen and dining area is open plan at the back of the house, with big doors that open onto the garden. It's a good space if you're all in together.
The garden is enclosed, which is handy. There's some seating and an outdoor shower, which is useful for washing off sand.
West Wittering beach is the main thing. It's a lovely sandy beach, famous for kite surfing. The water's quite shallow in places when the tide's out. You can see the Isle of Wight from the shore. It's a private beach, so there's a charge for parking in the main car park, but you can walk it from the cottage.
Chichester is about ten miles north. It's a nice city to walk around, inside the old walls. There's a theatre and cinema. If you drive about half an hour, you can get to a lot. Goodwood is nearby for the motor racing events. Arundel Castle is worth a visit. Portsmouth Harbour with the historic ships and the Spinnaker Tower is also within reach.
For things to do, the National Trust South Downs page is good, and Sussex Wildlife Trust has information about the coast.
The cottage has a 4 Star rating. It's got things like a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on the drive. We don't allow pets.
