Seaside Cottage West Wittering

Seaside Cottage is in West Wittering, just off the main street. It's a modern house on a private road, so it's quiet. You can walk to the beach in about fifteen minutes.

It sleeps four. Three bedrooms; two doubles and one with bunk beds. The stairs are normal, not steep. There's one bathroom upstairs and an extra toilet downstairs.

The living room is wood panelled and has a wood burner. The big sofa is good for a group. The kitchen and dining room are open plan at the back, with patio doors that go out to the garden.

The garden is enclosed. There's a table and chairs, and an outside shower for washing sand off. You can park on the drive.

West Wittering beach is the main thing. It's a huge sandy beach, good for swimming and walking. At low tide there are shallow pools for kids. It gets busy in summer, but it's very big. You need to pay for parking at the beach itself.

The village has a shop and a couple of pubs. The nearest one, The Lamb, does food. It's a five minute walk.

Chichester is about a twenty minute drive. It’s a nice small city. You can see a play at the Festival Theatre or walk around the cathedral. Arundel Castle is about half an hour away. The National Trust have a few local places like Uppark House and Slindon Estate.

In the house you've got a dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, and the wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
