Dreamcatcher is on South Hayling, right on the beach. It's a house, not a cottage. You look straight out over the Solent to the Isle of Wight.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well finished and comfortable. The main living area is open plan, with a big corner sofa facing the sea. There's a second, smaller seating area with a sofa bed if you need it.
The terrace is glass-fronted so you get the full view. It's a proper sun trap when the weather's right. The beach is shingle, but there's sand at low tide. It's dog-friendly all year, which is rare. You can take two pets.
On the island, there's a lot going on. There's a little seaside railway, a funfair, and plenty of walks. The Hayling Island Sailing Club is here. The local golf course is meant to be very good. For a bigger town, you can get the ferry over to Portsmouth. That's where the historic dockyard is, with HMS Victory and the Mary Rose Museum. The National Trust has a few properties nearby, like Uppark House.
Facilities are all there: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
