Steps From The Shore
Steps From The Shore is in South Hayling, right on Hayling Island. It's a terrace house, but you're basically right on the beach. The view from the back is straight out to sea.
The house sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a four star rating, so it's got most things you'd need and it's well kept. The main living area is open plan. There's patio doors that go straight out to a small patio with a table.
The beach is shingle. You can walk east along the coast path from here. The sailing club and the main beach amenities are a little way along, maybe a ten minute walk west.
Funland Amusement Park is on the island if you've got kids. The Hayling Island light railway is a small train that runs along the seafront in the summer. The island is known for windsurfing.
For a day out, Portsmouth is about half an hour's drive. You've got the Historic Dockyard and Spinnaker Tower there. Chichester is also around 30 minutes away, for the cathedral and shopping. The South Downs are about the same drive if you want hills.
Facilities wise, it has a washing machine, WiFi, on-site parking, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding is included. No pets.
