Watersedge House is in South Hayling. As the name says, it's right on the beach. You can walk out from the garden onto the shingle.
It's a big place, sleeps ten. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's well kitted out and everything's in good order.
The living area is open plan. The kitchen and sitting room look straight out to sea. There's a sun terrace on the ground floor and a bigger balcony on the second floor, off a room we use as a TV snug. The main bedroom on the top floor has its own balcony too.
The stairs are fine. There's a shower room on the ground floor, which is useful for washing off sand. Parking for four cars on the driveway.
Hayling Island is good for watersports. Windsurfing was invented here. The Hayling Billy Coastal Path is right there for walks or cycles.
Portsmouth is about a twenty minute drive. You've got the Historic Dockyard, the Spinnaker Tower, and ferry crossings to the Isle of Wight. The South Downs National Park is within half an hour for walking.
For facilities: all bedding and towels are included, there's WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, and TV. The property is wheelchair accessible. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
