Watersedge House is on the sea front on Hayling Island. That's in Hampshire. You can see the beach from the kitchen.
It sleeps up to ten people in five bedrooms. There are three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's modern and spacious inside. The layout is open plan, so it's good for families.
Parking isn't a problem. You can get four cars on the private driveway.
The beach is right there. You can walk straight onto it. It's a proper seaside beach, so expect sand and stones. There's an outdoor shower downstairs to wash it off.
There are two balconies. One is off a living area, and another is off the main bedroom upstairs. The main bedroom has a big en-suite.
A couple of things to note plainly. The house is on three floors, so there are stairs. The garden area is a paved terrace, not a big lawn. And we can take one well-behaved dog.
This part of Hayling Island is quiet. For shops and pubs, you'd drive into the main bit of town. It's only a few minutes by car.
If you like walking or cycling, the Hayling Billy trail is nearby. It's flat. Windsurfing was invented here, so the water sports are good. You can get lessons for that or paddleboarding.
You can get to Portsmouth in about half an hour. That's where the historic dockyard is, with the HMS Victory and the Spinnaker Tower. The South Downs National Park is about the same distance inland.
For facilities, it's got what you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, towels and bedding included. It's wheelchair accessible on the ground floor, but the upper floors are only reached by stairs.
