Lake Lodge 3 is on the edge of Chichester, near the Watersports Centre. It's a single-storey lodge, so no stairs to worry about. It looks out over the lake from a decked area.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one's a double and the other has bunk beds. There's one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. The kitchen is fairly compact, with a two-ring electric hob and a combi microwave oven. It's fine for simple meals.
The Chichester Watersports place right here offers a boat service across the lake for meals. There are a few places to eat within a short walk. For a proper pub, you'll need to drive a bit, about 14 miles.
You can walk into Chichester city centre in about 20 minutes. It's a nice walk along the canal. The cathedral is there, and the Festival Theatre is good if you want to see a show. The city is inside the old walls, so it's easy to wander around.
If you want the coast, West Wittering beach is about a 20-minute drive. It's a good sandy beach. Chichester Harbour is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, great for walking or sailing. Heading north, you get to the South Downs National Park for more walking. Goodwood is up there too, for the racecourse or the festival.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, and bedding and towels are included. All the electricity and utilities are covered. Sorry, no pets allowed.
