The Gatehouse
The Gatehouse is the apartment above the old coach house at Barton Manor, near Pagham. It's detached from the main house so it's quiet. You get the whole place to yourselves.
It sleeps six. There are four bedrooms, two are en-suite doubles. Two bathrooms in total. There's a south-facing lounge and a separate kitchen diner. The whole place was done up recently, so it's in very good condition. It has a 5 Star rating.
The electric vehicle charger and undercover carport are handy. The garden is shared with the other properties on the estate, but it's a big space.
It's a tranquil spot, so it's not really set up for children. The owners don't usually allow under 15s, but you can ask them directly if you need to.
There's a pub about 60 yards down the lane that does food. Pagham beach is a mile away. The Pagham Harbour nature reserve is right there if you like birdwatching. The paths around there are flat, good for walking or cycling.
Arundel with its castle is about 20 minutes' drive. Chichester is about the same, it's got the cathedral, the theatre, and shops. Goodwood estate is close by for the horse racing and the Festival of Speed. Brighton is to the east, Portsmouth to the west, both within half an hour or so.
Facilities wise, you've got WiFi, Smart TVs, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. On-site parking. The patio area is yours to use.
