The Hen House
The Hen House is a holiday cottage on my land near Lidsey. It's detached. I built it myself, so it's new.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a super king bed. One bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's all on the ground floor. There's a wood burner in the living room.
There's quite a lot of glass, so you get good views of the garden. The garden is yours to use while you're here. It's enclosed. There's a patio with furniture, a barbecue, and a fire pit.
It's a quiet spot. You can see the main house from the cottage, but the layout gives you privacy. The local pub is about half a mile down the lane. It does food.
The South Downs are about three miles away. The coast at Bognor Regis is four miles. Goodwood is about seven miles for the motor circuit or the horse racing. Chichester is a fifteen minute drive. Worthing is about twenty minutes.
For things to do, the South Downs National Park website has walking routes. The National Trust has nearby places like Petworth House and Slindon Estate.
Facilities: it has a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. No pets.
