Cockle Cottage
Cockle Cottage is in Elmer, which is a bit outside Bognor Regis. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one floor. That's good if you don't want stairs.
The place sleeps six people, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms as well, which helps with a group. It's got a 4 Star rating. Pets are allowed, up to two of them.
You're about a five minute walk from the beach. It's quiet there, even in summer. There are these man-made rock islands offshore you can walk out to at low tide. The beach stretches for miles from Elmer towards Littlehampton, it's part of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
There's a shop and a pub about 200 yards away. The pub does food.
For days out, Arundel with its castle is about ten minutes' drive north. Chichester is fifteen minutes or so, that's got the cathedral and the theatre. Goodwood and Fontwell racecourses are nearby if that's your thing. Brighton is about 45 minutes along the coast to the east, and you can get to Portsmouth and the ferry to the Isle of Wight in under an hour heading west.
What's here: parking right outside, a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can use the BBQ.
