The Cottage By The Sea
The Cottage by the Sea is in Littlehampton. It's a detached, single-storey cottage, so everything's on the ground floor. That makes it easier if stairs are a problem. It's in a quiet little conservation area, about five minutes' walk from the beach.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. The garden is enclosed, which is handy.
You're very close to things. The local shop is about a minute away. The pub is even closer, maybe 80 yards. They do food. The seafront and the beach are about 350 yards.
Littlehampton has a nice, long beach. The town's got the usual seaside things like Harbour Park for the kids. The East Beach has that very long bench. The West Beach is more for nature, with sand dunes. You can get the ferry between them in summer.
From here, you can get to some good places. Arundel Castle is about a 20 minute drive. It's impressive. The South Downs are right there for walking. Chichester is maybe half an hour, for the cathedral and the theatre. Brighton and Portsmouth are both under an hour by car if you fancy a bigger day out.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on site. Pets are allowed, which is unusual for a place this size, so that's a plus if you need it.
