Warre Cottage is in Burpham village, about two miles outside of Arundel. It's a detached cottage, so no shared walls. The garden is private.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, which helps with a full house. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-kept.
The garden is properly private. It's on different levels with a raised path. The views from there, and from the upstairs windows, are really nice. Straight out over the fields towards the South Downs.
Burpham itself is small and quiet. There's a Norman church and a village pub. The pub is good, it does food. You can walk from the cottage straight onto the footpaths. The South Downs Way is close by.
Arundel is two miles away. You've got the castle, which is the big thing, and lots of little shops and cafes. The WWT Arundel Wetland Centre is there if you like that sort of thing. The river is nice for a walk.
If you want the coast, Climping Beach and Littlehampton are about a twenty minute drive. Goodwood and Fontwell racecourses are within half an hour. Chichester is about half an hour away too, for the theatre or shopping.
For a bigger day out, you can get a train from Arundel station into London. It's direct, takes just over an hour and a half.
Facilities wise: it's all there. Wifi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, parking at the cottage. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
