The Brambles
The Brambles is in Westergate. It’s attached to our main house, but you have your own front door and a private garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It’s a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well-equipped. The garden gets a lot of birds and wildlife.
There’s a living room with a wood burner, a kitchen, and a large conservatory which looks west over the garden. It’s a good spot to sit in the evening. My wife Pip has written a cookery book and can cater for you if you arrange it in advance.
You’re about halfway between Chichester and Arundel, maybe a ten minute drive to either. The South Downs are right there. Slindon Estate is two miles away for walking.
In Chichester you’ve got the cathedral and the theatre. Arundel has the castle and the wetland centre. Goodwood and Petworth House are within half an hour.
For facilities: there’s a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and parking on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, I’m afraid.
