The Jays is in Selsey. It's a detached house, so no one's sharing walls with you. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after and comfortable.
The house is about 200 yards from the beach. You can smell the sea air. There's a pub by the sea wall at the end of the road, maybe a quarter mile away. It's popular in summer because it has a big outdoor seating area. There's a shop and a restaurant about two miles away.
Inside, it's clean and modern. There's a decent sized living room, a separate dining room, and a kitchen with what you'd need. There are two bathrooms, which helps when there's a few of you. The stairs are a normal staircase, not a steep cottage one.
The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for kids or a dog. You get one pet allowed. There's parking on the drive.
For things to do, the beach is the main thing. You can walk along the promenade. Horse riding on the beach is possible, and you can find stables about four miles away. There's a scuba school nearby if that's your thing. Golf is local. Chichester is about nine miles away - it's a nice city with a cathedral, shops, and a theatre. Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is about a 30 minute drive west.
Facilities are what you'd hope for: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ and bike storage if you bring cycles.
