The Jays Selsey

The Jays is in Selsey. It’s a detached house, so no one next door. You’re about 200 yards from the beach. The sea air is good here.

It sleeps six, three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It’s got a 4 Star rating. The place feels calm and has been done up recently. It’s clean and comfortable.

Downstairs: a decent sized living room with a smart TV, a separate dining room, and a kitchen with what you’d need. Upstairs, three bedrooms. They’re quiet.

The garden is enclosed. There’s a patio, off-road parking, and a shed for bikes. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

At the end of the road, where the sea wall is, there’s a pub. It’s about a quarter of a mile away. They have a big outdoor area and it gets busy in summer. The nearest shop or restaurant is about two miles.

For things to do, the beach is the main thing. You can walk along the promenade. The Witterings are a short drive away for a bigger sandy beach. You can hire bikes in the village, there’s golf nearby, and horse riding is about four miles away.

Chichester is about nine miles. It’s a nice city for a day out: shopping, the theatre, the cathedral. Portsmouth Harbour and its historic docks are about a thirty minute drive west.

Included: WiFi, bedding and towels, a washing machine, dishwasher. No fireworks for Christmas or New Year, please.
